Marketing & self promotion is definitely my weak point. It’s something I feel I should be better at (or hire someone to do) but I just never feel the motivation. I enjoy building things, so that’s what I tend to focus on.
However, I’ve recently been interviewed. Twice. If you want to know a bit more about me then you can check out the interviews below:
Cloudways
Cloudways is a Managed Cloud Hosting Company. They are a web host that makes use of third party platforms such as Digital Ocean, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). I use Digital Ocean to host a friends site and can confirm that’s it’s really good, and not super pricey. However you need to know a more about how to manage the server than you would with a traditional host – and that’s where Cloudways steps in. They manage the servers, and do the security, maintenance, backups, and everything else for you.
They interviewed me about my love of WordPress and Video Games, and they’ve also asked me to do a guest post – which should be published in September.
Foxland
Foxland is where Sami Keijonen hangs out. He’s a theme and plugin developer from Finland (he also teaches Maths and Computer Science). He’s also passionate about accessibility on the web, something I am getting more and more interested in, so is worth following on Twitter if you’re into that sort of thing.
Sami recently posted about ‘WordPress Theme Shops He Trusts‘. There’s a lot of WordPress theme shops online and so he wanted to filter out what he considers the better ones, and he very kindly singled out Pro Theme Design as one of the shops he likes. To go along with this Sami sent interviews to all the theme shops – so here’s my interview about Pro Theme Design.
Was it good/ useful/ a load of old rubbish? Let me know on Mastodon, or BlueSky (or Twitter X if you must).
